Subscriptions renew until canceled
Paid plans renew automatically through Stripe unless you cancel before the next billing date.
Terms of Service
These Terms explain how DinDin accounts, subscriptions, AI usage, credits, content, integrations, refunds, service limitations, and acceptable use work. They are written to keep the service sustainable, protect the product, and make the boundaries clear before there is a dispute.
Effective date: April 27, 2026
Paid plans renew automatically through Stripe unless you cancel before the next billing date.
AI tokens, quotas, credits, and fair-use limits are product controls, not guarantees of a specific number of perfect results.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Software issues, outages, dissatisfaction, unused time, or token consumption do not automatically create a refund right.
We work hard to keep Din Din useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect AI output, or error-free meal planning.
Important
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DinDin, including the website, member application, recipe tools, meal planning tools, grocery tools, pantry tools, calendar sync features, AI features, subscriptions, billing flows, and related services.
By creating an account, using the service, starting a subscription, buying credits, connecting an integration, or otherwise accessing DinDin, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for a household, business, organization, or another person, you represent that you have authority to use the service and enter these Terms on their behalf.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use DinDin. The service is intended for adults managing household meal planning and is not directed to children.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, password, authentication method, and MFA devices. You are responsible for all activity under your account unless we determine that the activity resulted from a security failure caused solely by us.
You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your email address current so we can send security, billing, subscription, and service notices.
DinDin provides meal planning software. Features may include recipe saving, recipe importing, manual recipe entry, meal calendars, planning workflows, grocery lists, pantry tools, history, favorites, profile settings, calendar sync, AI meal generation, AI course or drink suggestions, recipe photo uploads on eligible plans, and related account tools.
The service is software, not a professional nutrition, medical, dietary, food safety, allergy, financial, or legal service. You are responsible for reviewing recipes, ingredients, allergens, food safety, portion sizes, nutritional suitability, shopping choices, and calendar information before relying on them.
Features can vary by account tier, location, device, browser, subscription status, product experiment, operational availability, and changes we make over time.
Free accounts may be subject to limits, including a recipe limit, ads, restricted AI features, restricted calendar sync, restricted uploads, and other product limits.
Pro and Max plans add paid features described on the pricing, billing, or product pages at the time of purchase. Max may include higher AI quota, additional AI capabilities, recipe photo uploads, credit top-ups, or other enhanced features.
Feature descriptions are not promises that every feature will be available forever, available in every region, or available without interruptions. We may add, remove, rename, limit, modify, or replace features to improve the product, manage costs, protect the service, comply with legal requirements, or respond to third-party provider changes.
Billing
Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal may be used for subscription signup, payment method updates, invoices, cancellations, and plan management. Stripe’s tools help process billing, but your right to use DinDin, receive features, request refunds, or consume AI quota is governed by these Terms and the product rules shown at purchase.
Upgrades may take effect immediately and may create an immediate charge. Downgrades or cancellations may take effect at the end of the billing period unless the billing flow says otherwise.
Prices may exclude taxes, duties, exchange fees, card fees, or bank fees. You are responsible for applicable taxes and charges imposed by payment methods or financial institutions.
You are responsible for tracking renewal dates shown in the product, Stripe portal, receipts, or billing emails. Failure to use the service does not stop renewal.
Promotions, trials, discounts, credits, and coupons may be changed, ended, limited, or revoked. When a trial ends, the paid plan may begin unless canceled in time.
Paid subscriptions, checkout, payment methods, invoices, renewals, payment failures, subscription changes, customer portal actions, and certain billing records are handled through Stripe or Stripe-powered flows.
When you start a paid subscription, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the selected plan, billing interval, taxes, and applicable fees until the subscription is canceled or otherwise ends.
You can cancel a subscription through the billing controls we provide, which may open a Stripe-hosted customer portal or another Stripe billing flow. Unless the checkout or billing flow states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period and does not automatically refund prior charges.
If payment fails, we may suspend, downgrade, restrict, or terminate paid features. Stripe may retry payment, send billing communications, or update subscription status according to configured billing settings.
Except where required by law, all subscription charges, renewals, plan upgrades, AI credit purchases, token purchases, and other paid charges are non-refundable.
We do not guarantee refunds or credits for unused subscription time, unused AI tokens, consumed AI tokens, software bugs, intermittent service interruptions, slow performance, third-party outages, failed imports, calendar sync problems, AI output quality, customer misunderstanding of plan features, forgetting to cancel, lack of use, accidental renewal, or dissatisfaction with generated recipes or suggestions.
We may choose to issue a refund, credit, extension, or other accommodation in our sole discretion. If we do, that decision does not waive these Terms, require us to provide the same accommodation later, or create a refund policy for similar situations.
Chargebacks, payment disputes, or payment reversals may result in account restriction, suspension, data export requirements before continued use, or termination, subject to applicable law.
AI tokens, credits, quotas, limits, usage counters, and similar terms describe internal product usage controls. They are not cash, stored value, gift cards, property, or a right to receive a specific number of successful meals, recipes, completions, pairings, or outputs.
Tokens or credits may be consumed when an AI request is submitted, processed, retried, partially completed, fails, times out, produces fewer results than expected, produces results you do not like, or requires additional system processing. A consumed token or credit is not automatically restored because an output is imperfect, unusable, delayed, repetitive, or different from what you expected.
Monthly or periodic AI quotas may reset, expire, change, or stop carrying over. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, unused monthly quota does not roll over and has no refund value. Purchased credit packs, if offered, may be subject to separate limits, expiration rules, plan eligibility, or fair-use controls.
We may change token pricing, consumption rules, quotas, model providers, model behavior, output limits, request limits, rate limits, or fair-use policies to manage cost, reliability, abuse, provider changes, or product quality. If you believe a usage counter is materially wrong, contact support with details; our records will be used to determine any discretionary adjustment.
AI Tokens
AI systems cost money to run and are probabilistic. These rules are meant to keep expectations clear when a generation is slow, partial, strange, repetitive, or not what you wanted.
AI features can generate inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, unsafe, unsuitable, or unexpected outputs. AI may misunderstand your instructions, ignore constraints, invent details, recommend ingredients you cannot use, or produce recipes that need human review.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI output before using it, including ingredients, allergens, food safety, dietary restrictions, cooking instructions, calendar timing, grocery quantities, alcohol-related suggestions, household suitability, and nutritional fit.
AI output is provided for convenience and planning inspiration. We do not guarantee that AI output will satisfy your dietary needs, taste preferences, household requirements, budget, schedule, health conditions, allergies, religious restrictions, or other constraints.
AI features may rely on third-party model providers or infrastructure providers. Availability, quality, latency, cost, and output behavior may change based on those providers.
You are responsible for the recipes, text, photos, links, notes, and other content you add, import, upload, paste, save, or generate through the service.
Recipe import and extraction features are provided as convenience tools. We do not guarantee that a recipe can be imported, that imported content will be complete or accurate, or that a third-party site allows or will continue to allow access.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload photos and content to your account. Do not upload illegal, infringing, abusive, private, or harmful content.
Third-party recipe sites, calendar providers, payment providers, AI providers, and linked websites are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, pricing, changes, errors, or actions.
As between you and us, you retain ownership of content you add to your account, subject to the rights and licenses you already have in that content.
You grant DinDin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, format, modify for technical purposes, analyze, and otherwise use your account content as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the service.
This license includes the right to process your content through service providers that help us operate the product, such as hosting, storage, database, email, analytics, security, calendar, payment, and AI infrastructure providers.
You are responsible for keeping your own backup of important content. Although we may offer export tools, the service is not intended to be your sole archival copy of recipes, photos, calendar plans, or grocery data.
You may not misuse the service. This includes attempting unauthorized access, probing or attacking systems, scraping, reselling, reverse engineering, bypassing limits, abusing AI systems, uploading malware, interfering with other users, infringing rights, violating law, or using the service for spam, harassment, fraud, surveillance, or harmful content.
You may not use automation, bots, scripts, multiple accounts, shared accounts, or other methods to evade quotas, paid limits, rate limits, token limits, recipe limits, upload limits, ads, fair-use policies, or access restrictions.
We may investigate, throttle, suspend, downgrade, restrict, or terminate accounts that appear to violate these Terms, create risk, create excessive load, create payment risk, abuse AI resources, or threaten the security or reliability of the service.
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but software has bugs and online services have interruptions. The service may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, degraded, or changed because of maintenance, deployments, outages, security events, provider issues, browser issues, network issues, payment issues, calendar provider issues, AI provider issues, or other events.
We may release beta, preview, experimental, or early-access features. Those features may be less reliable, may change quickly, may lose data, may be removed, or may not work as expected.
Service interruptions, bugs, feature changes, or discontinued features do not automatically entitle you to a refund, credit, extension, or damages.
You are responsible for using a secure device, keeping credentials private, maintaining access to your email, protecting MFA methods, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect the service, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You use the service with that understanding.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it with service providers, and what controls are available.
You may stop using the service at any time. You can cancel paid subscriptions through the provided billing controls and may deactivate your account through Settings where available.
We may suspend, restrict, downgrade, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, create security or legal risk, abuse the service, misuse AI resources, file abusive disputes, infringe rights, or if continued service is commercially, operationally, or legally impractical.
After termination or deactivation, we may delete or retain data according to the Privacy Policy, backup schedules, legal requirements, billing requirements, dispute needs, and fraud prevention needs. You should export important data before canceling or deactivating if you want a copy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DinDin and all related services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and that outputs or recommendations will meet your needs.
We do not guarantee that recipes, imports, photos, grocery quantities, pantry deductions, calendar sync, AI results, dietary filters, allergen handling, nutrition assumptions, cooking times, or planning suggestions will be accurate, safe, complete, legal, or suitable for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DinDin, its owner, operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, substitute services, food costs, grocery costs, health consequences, allergy incidents, calendar mistakes, or AI output issues.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DinDin, its owner, operators, affiliates, service providers, and personnel from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your account, your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your infringement or misuse of third-party rights, or your misuse of AI output or recipe information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the effective date, posting an in-product notice, or sending an email.
We may change plans, prices, token amounts, feature availability, paid limits, free limits, ads, AI providers, calendar behavior, upload rules, or other product terms going forward. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms or pricing, your remedy is to stop using the service and cancel your subscription before your next renewal.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the site owner or operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection law requires otherwise.
Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue informally. Any claim must be brought individually, not as a class, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general action, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or operation of the service through a successor.
